Types of Pipe Reinforcing Sleeve :
Type A Pipe Reinforcing Sleeve : The primary function of a type A sleeve is to strengthen the area with a deficiency. Furthermore, a flaw cannot be a through-wall flaw. Type A sleeves, also known as Type A Full Encirclement sleeves, completely enclose the pipe. Typically, the Type A Repair Sleeve’s ends are not welded together, but its halves are.
Type B Pipe Reinforcing Sleeve : Type B sleeves can be used to seal a leak or strengthen a section that has a flaw. With the exception of the fact that the sleeve is entirely welded to the pipe, Type B sleeves have many characteristics with Type A pipe sleeves. The best way to fix girth weld flaws is with Type B Pipeline Sleeves.
