Dismantling joints are essential to the planning and design of valves and pipelines. They are a vital tool for installing and removing valves and pipe sections. It is nearly hard to precisely install a valve into a pipe section without a disassembly joint that provides longitudinal adjustment. Because of the disassembly joint’s adjustability, the valve may be installed next to it, and it can be precisely adjusted to the desired length before being firmly fastened to flanges.
When disassembling, the opposite procedure is employed, whereby the length of the disassembling joint is readjusted to provide sufficient room for the valve to be loosened and removed. The dismantling joint ensures quick installation and removal in both situations, which boosts productivity and cuts down on site operations and downtime. When fitting pipe sections together, the process is comparable. Additionally, some dismantling joint types can be used freely in flexible pipelines. PetroSan dismantling joint, provides enough space for installing a valve or any other armature to the pipeline by moving (+) 25 mm, (-) 25 mm on the product length. In order to install a valve and place gaskets on to the pipeline, a space larger than the product length should be spared.
