Petrosan Pipe Sleeve

PetroSan producing high-quality pipeline insert sleeves (pipe ID girth weld sleeve) for long-term pipeline internally protection from corrosion. For the past ten years, we have been a dependable partner in the production of Petrosan sleeves for the authorized market since we comprehend the needs and applications of our clients and there pipeline projects.

The most recent addition to Total Pipeline internally Solutions’ line of high-performing, value-added, and inventive products is PetroSan sleeves. Our sleeves are well known as pipe sleeve, pipe insert sleeve, pipe internally insert sleeve, pipe protective insert sleeve, corrosion protactive internal insert sleeve, pipe sleeve kote, fbe coated insert sleeve, epoxy coated pipe insert sleeve, internally and externally coated petrosan sleeves etc.

A welded connection method called PetroSan Sleeve is used to unite piping systems and internally coated pipes. In order to safeguard the internal coating when welding, the sleeving system makes use of an insert sleeve. This technique eliminates costly custom fabrication while providing a flexible and affordable field construction option.

PetroSan Sleeve Benefits :

• Suitable for both onshore and offshore pipelines.
• As municipal and plant pipe systems across the globe; all pipe sizes and grades are available.
• Suitable for powder or liquid coatings.
• Heat-cured mastic placed in the field creates a smooth surface at the sleeve edge, offering a constant barrier.
• Complete penetration, 100% X-rayable welds in accordance with ASME 31.3, Chapter 9, and API 11004.
• It can accommodate internal pigging equipment and is used with pipe field cuts to meet precise length specifications.
• Easy manufacturing and quick assembly.

Process Flow Information :

Numerous coatings that are resistant to corrosion can be used in the production of the petrosan sleeve. To achieve the best performance level for the specific environment service, the material’s precise formulation is changed. The following elements need to be taken into consideration:

1. The fluid to be transported.
a. Primary chemical composition.
b. Concentration of the chemical.
c. Trace chemicals.
d. Contaminants.
e. Solids concentration and particulate size, if any.
2. Normal operating temperatures (both minimum and maximum).
3. Normal operating pressure (including hydrostatic test pressure and M.O.P.).
4. Vacuum temperature (minimum & maximum) if applicable.
5. Post-installation pipe cleaning and pipe inspection methods.
6. Cathodic protection, if applicable.
7. Maximum flow rate or fluid velocity.
8. Dry heat temperature of the coating to be applied to the I.D. of the piping.

Production Size Range :

By creating a continuous internal coating transmission at the joint welding section, the Petrosan sleeve pipe insert sleeve is a pipe fitting specifically made to shield the welded joint area of piping from corrosive process fluids. Both onshore and offshore pipeline installations can use this product for field jointing, and it can be made in a variety of sizes, grades, materials, and piping system configurations. Both liquid and powder pipe coatings can be used with the sleeve.

The PetroSan Sleeve (internal pipe insert sleeve’s) design aims to extend the pipeline’s service life by offering a consistent internal coating for internally coated pipes while taking into account the cleaning and operation of the pipeline following installation.

The PetroSan Sleeve offers satisfactory protection for the pipeline internal cutback area when the right coating is applied that is appropriate for operating under the particular transporting medium conditions of each project, high temperature isolation treatment for pipe welding, and the use of high temperature and corrosive resisting sealing rings and mastic epoxy.
